Because we’re in high demand, we organise our days to fit in as many jobs as possible — which helps keep things efficient and affordable for you. Since our trimming is quiet and low-key, and doesn’t require anyone to be home, most people are happy to just get it done without a fixed time. However we do give you the day it will be done.

Yes we’re fully insured and Lantra safety certified. We also wear hi-vis and professional safety gear.

Glad you asked! We use the professional-grade EGO HT6500 trimmer. Quieter, cleaner, and more powerful than petrol trimmers. It’s double knife-edge blades ensure a cleaner cut, which reduced browning. We also use good old hand-shear for detail work.

Very rarely in front garden hedges, but it can happen. We always have a careful look before trimming. If there’s a nest, we’ll leave it alone and be back later in the season.

Our focus is on front garden hedges—no need for you to be home, and no gate access or pets to worry about.

If your back garden hedge is easy to access and we’ve agreed in advance, we’ll happily quote for it.

Once we’ve trimmed your hedge, we’ll email you an invoice. We take payment via bank transfer or Revolut.

We don’t quote by time. Every hedge is different, so we give a fixed price based on its size, access, and complexity. That way you know the cost upfront — and we can focus on doing it properly and not racing against the clock.

As a rough guide our tiers:

1. Small trim – from £20–£30

A light seasonal tidy-up or single low bush.

2. Standard front garden hedge – from £35–£60

Our most common job — up to 2m high and straightforward.

3. Large or complex trim – from £60–£100+

Taller, wider, shaped hedges or those needing access from two sides.

Green waste disposal (if your brown bin’s full): £10–£25

Informal shaping (rounded or softened finishes): +£10

By law, we can only trim up to your property boundary. If any part of the hedge crosses onto your neighbour’s side, we’ll need their permission before trimming that section.

We always aim to create the right look for the whole hedge and quote based on trimming it fully. If neighbour access isn’t possible, we’ll adjust the final cost accordingly.

If the hedge extends significantly onto their property - and they want a seamless trim, we can quote them separately. Just let us know on the booking form. We’re all about keeping things neighbourly.

If the weather’s not right for a safe or tidy trim, we’ll wait until it is and keep you updated — no hassle, no charge.
